olive oil is like liquid gold...
I am a woman of mixed ethnicities and because of this, I have mixed hair as well. My hair is a combination of wavy,straight and curly. Mostly wavy and curly. And when my hair gets dry it gets REAL DRY.When it gets frizzy it gets REAL FRIZZY, plus it has plenty of split ends. I have dyed my hair in the past several times and that also has contributed to breakage and dryness. I have used all kinds of products and Organic Root stimulator Olive Oil hair lotion is the best most penetrating hair lotion I have ever used.Nothing compares to using real olive oil, but this is a styling lotion and it works extremely well, if not the same. It has other moisturizing oils in it as well as coconut oil, peanut oil and vegetable oil.I strongly recommend using it right after you have just washed your hair and your hair is completely damp. I have found the best results doing it this way and then wrapping it with a towel. Afterwards it is very easy to style and stays moisturized...

I'm a white girl who swears by this stuff :) Let's face it, dry hair is dry hair, and this stuff will quench it fast! I have hair that's been killed by coloring, and this lotion tames the frizzies and makes it feel so lush and healthy. A little goes a long way so you can't beat this at five bucks, what a bargain!

this stuff is great!
Another white girl chiming in here - my hair was suffering greatly from my swimming 3x per week... Palmer's Olive Butter Formula W/ Vitamin E
I bought several "try me" bottles of this product at the beauty supply store and was impressed with the feel of the cream from the begining. It made my skin feel silky smooth and soft. I went back to the beauty supply expecting to find large bottles of this product and the owner told me that she was not going to stock it. I told her how great I thought the prouct was and expressed my disappointment that she was not going to stock it. palmers organic therapy olive oil with vitamin-e lotion
I have VERY dry skin-year 'round. This product is wonderful. I cannot find it anywhere but Amazon-please don't quit carrying it. I started using it when it was suggested to me by a physical therapist after having a total knee replacement. It left my scar very soft and pliable with a very thin line of scarring. My family member who had a mastectomy also used it on her scar healing and she was very pleased with the healing. I would suggest this product to anyone for scar therapy, excessive dry skin or whatever your skin problem is. Thanks for carrying this product.

Affordable Luxury in A Tiny Bottle!
Listen to me ~ if you believe none of the other reviews I am here to tell you this product is a miracle! I rarely write letters to companies but this one did it for me. I had to let them know they've got the right stuff!I am 42 and have had combination skin that gets much oilier during the warmer months. This product is one that I have used for two years now exclusively as my night oil and it has become a mainstay in my cabinet.Here's the trick, though. After cleansing my face (I also use Olivella bar soap) I leave my face dripping wet. One short pump and those few drops glide over my entire face, my ears AND the front and back of my neck. It doesn't take much at all but a moist face just isn't enough. Just massage it in as your face air dries and the moisture left behind is heavenly. Not the slightest bit oily at all. And don't skip your lips. No fine lines around mine and my lipstick proves it - no more creeping into fine lines around my lips...

Overall a GREAT product
First and foremost what i love about this product is that it's natural, is not used in animal testing, and has a very low toxicity rate (according to ewg.org) with no cancer causing chemicals, unlike most of the common moisturizers out there. All it takes is a few drops to cover the face and works best after a shower. The scent is moderately strong soap-type smell but will not stay with you for long, although some may not be pleased with it. It absorbs into the skin rather quickly so your face does not seem oily.I find Olivella is best used overnight because when i woke up i had a fresh young glow to my skin and was pleased with the results. Some should be advised that you may be allergic to the ingredients and do a test before hand. Even if you are not allergic, when i first used the product my skin did break out but i had remembered reading somewhere how since the it can actually help normalize your skin that breakouts are sometimes a common thing in the beginning so i...

Love this lotion!
I love, love, love this lotion! It has a nice, creamy texture that absorbs well into the skin. It is very moisturizing and not greasy. It has the best scent of lemons; it reminds me of the smell of Lemonheads candy, without the sweet, just the lemon. It is not an overwhelming scent and does not last long, so it will not clash with perfumes etc.. I like the Avalon lotions much better than the regular commercially sold brands. It is superior to those in my opinion, as it is very moisturizing, yet not heavy or overly thin. Just wish it was readily available in stores, but have been able to catch Shipping & Handling specials on Amazon for this product at times. This is my new favorite scent!

Luxurious
This is an amazing lotion. I first tried it in a grocery store at the checkout counter. It made my hands so soft and smooth, plus the scent was so refreshing, that I put my groceries in the car and went back in to buy some. I highly recommend this for very dry hands.
