Great for hands and body!
This is one of my favorite lotions. I constantly have to wash my hands at work and thus have a problem with dry skin. The gold bond lotion is one of the few lotions that actually helps my skin stay moisturized. I use it for my hands, body and sometimes even my face. It absorbs very quickly and just works great! LOVE IT!

Only thing that has worked on son's eczema!
I've been searching high and low for something that would work on my son's eczema. We suffer with it every year. I've used Cetaphil, A&D, and prescription stuff, but nothing really kept it in check until now. This stuff is AMAZING! My little guy doesn't have to suffer anymore.

A GREAT AND WONDERFUL PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS BUT A POX ON THE HOUSE OF THE DESIGNER OF THE DELIVERY SYSTEM
There are, as you get older, some facts that simply must be confronted. Some things in life get better; some things get worse. For most people, and I most certainly include myself in this group, we find that as we age our skin becomes dryer and less supple. Now there are a few lucky ones out there, I grant you that, but I don't happen to be one of them. There is also the fact that if you work in certain occupations or are exposed to every disease known to mankind, you must constantly wash your hands. I have worked in the health care industry for the past 30 years and now work in a middle school. Needless to say hand washing in a constant in my life. Clean hands are nice and they are necessary but via the process of washing your hands and applying endless doses of hand cleanser, you end up with very dry skin.Also, in my case, I have to face the reality that I have been taking cholesterol lowering medication for quite a few years now which most certainly affects the...

Exceeds Expectations
This is the best lotion available on the market. I have extremely dry skin and live in a dry, desert climate, but using this lotion has changed my skin. It is easily absorbed and is the only lotion I don't have to reapply after every hand washing. It is thicker than regular lotion so it doesn't leave such a greasy mess. I have tried Aveeno, Cetaphyl, Jergyns, Vaseline brand, etc and never felt completely satisfied as I do with this product. Also, the fragrance is nice but does not irritate my sensitive skin. I couldn't have designed a better product myself. The only problem is keeping it in stock.

Excellent in every manner. Will definitely keep on hand :)
My quest for decent moisturing lotion began several years ago with chemo/radiation cancer treatments that literally destroyed my skin. Burns, itching, dry scaly areas that just felt awful and, at times, could be painful. I was desperate for relief and tried about 13 different products including those containing seaweed, aloe and oatmeal.Gold Bond was the clear winner for me. This restoring lotion and its brother, the 'healing' lotion worked the first time and gave me not only the relief I so desperately needed but actually healed and softened my skin in just a few days. I can't say I have a favorite of the two because they both absorb quickly, have the most subtle scent (not feminine or masculine or medicinal - the scent is almost not even there), they don't leave a greasy/sticky residue, and they both provide instant relief. Having to be so careful about touching things with my immune system so compromised I am constantly washing my hands or using those hand sanitizers...

One of the better body lotions
This is a really good body lotion, rich yet does not go on greasy. It is soothing and the Urea (2nd ingredient) means it also exfoliates, which is great for removing dry, dead skin. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the scent is a bit strong. It is pleasant but I would prefer an unscented option. But still, a really great overall body lotion, so I am willing to live with it.

Excellent for Adults!

Grrrrreat!
I love this product it is great for long lasting odor control during those times when you sweat or during that time of the month. They discontinued it of course like everything else i become accustomed to, but nevetheless it was available in a four pack through Amazon, came to my door in less than a weeek (regular shipping) so I'am very happy i got my product.

Not discontinued
I contacted Gold Bond directly after seeing in several places on the internet that this best of its kind product was being discontinued. I received a letter today from Susan Shell, consumer affairs representative, stating that is not true.This is a corn starch product, not talc. Talc based products can irritate some people immediately and most people eventually. Love the smell too. Mind and gender neutral.

Simply The Best Out There Right Now 2011
I agree wholeheartedly with all the other reviews.There just isn't a better product on the market.I am in my early 50's and remember "Gold Bond" as a product my grandmother used. I also remember it not having the most pleasant of smells when applied.This lotion is marvelous feeling going on and hours later still feeling the same.I have "normal" skin with dryness in the "T" zone. This product has made my hands look like a teenagers again.I have tried MANY products - both MORE expensive and the same price and nothing compares.I am hopeful that the manufacturer of this product realizes what they have on their hands and won't change the ingredients or stop making this product. I paid $8.00 for mine. I just hope the price doesn't sky rocket - but you know - I'm always willing to pay for a product that works.

Works quickly and well
I am genuinely pleased with this product. I was visiting a friend's house this weekend and was offered use of their lotion for my feet. The edges of my heels were severely dried and cracked. It was so bad that it was beginning to hurt to walk. This lotion worked immediately to soften the skin, eliminating the pain. Over three days of use my heels got noticeably better. I will be getting my own bottle of this tomorrow.
