Watkins Menthol Camphor
This product is similar to Vicks Vapo Rub but I feel Watkins Menthol Camphor works better and smells much better than the Vicks. My stuffy nose clears real fast and keeps me soothed through the night when I use this product while I am sick.I also rub this ointment on my hands in the winter time when they get dry, chapped, and they feel sore/burning sensation. I apply the menthol camphor and my hands feel so much better. It gives them a cool relief and the burning sensation instantly dissapears. It keeps my hands soft and dry all winter! I know this is not the products intended use but it works wonders for me in the winter time.

This is the ONLY thing I can use as a lip moisturizer and it doesn't make them worse. I also use this on the bottoms of my feet (I know, it sounds crazy) for deep coughs and tickles in the throat and it instantly keeps me from coughing for about 4 hours at a time and allows me to get sleep and rest. It is a pleasant smell but also smells medicated and so I won't use it (on my lips) if I'm going out or people think I'm sick. But I personally love the smell and would choose it over vicks, any day. I also use it under my nose for stuffiness and chapped nose due to blowing and it works wonders.

Good Stuff
I had never used Watkins ointment but had a friend who has raved about it for years. For dry and chapped lips I normally use Neosporin lip treatment or Carmex but lately neither item worked. Just recently my lips became so chapped and dry that they actually hurt and I had some serious dryness around my mouth. My friend suggested I get some Watkins. I went online to order it from Amazon but knew that would take at least 2 days since I was out of town. I found out this was sold at Cracker Barrel restaurants. I bought it and applied it before I went to bed and by morning I could tell the difference. My lips cleared up within 2 days. I also applied this ointment to a cut and it definitely soothes the soreness. I have 2 large tins for my home and office and a small tin for my purse. I am definitely a believer in this product.

Stops the itch!
This product stops the itch! I have tried other products, even store brands of the Sarna. While the ingredient list appears to be the same, in use, the Sarna excels in itch stopping and shelf life after being opened. This may not be a good product for little ones as it does have a slight, slight, tingling sensation, but not objectionable in my opinion. Good stuff!

fantastic for rashes or irritated skin
Although this product DOES sting a bit on rashy or irritated skin, especially with open cuts, it stings less than many other lotions. It also cools almost immediately, similar to a weak Tiger Balm. It's fantastic on eczema etc, and might even be helpful for bug bites and poison ivy. It does NOT do a great job of moisturizing, though that is to be expected with menthol and camphor. Cool your skin with this and then put a coating of a thin lotion on top, e.g. lubriderm or aveeno. Fantastic product, it's been a lifesaver with my allergies!

i'm a sarna believer
My dermatologist recommends very few products for me given my extreme sensitivity to fragrance, alcohols, and most anagelisics. However, Sarna was at the top of her list. It's been a life saver with my mild psoriasis. For really penetrating itch or pain, you'll need something like Lidocaine 5%, but for general skin discomfort, the original scent Sarna is ideal. I wish Sarna would keep the ingredient list the same and remove the (strong) fragrance but this is as perfect a product as they come.

What's to say? It's cheap, has no bells or whistles, is NOT oily or greasy and it works as advertised. I have calluses (did I spell that right?) on big toes and heels with DEEP fissures. Deep enough to become a health hazard. Poured Porter's (an alliteration for a skin product?) onto my toes and heel, put on socks and went on my way. I'd repeat this at night and again cover with socks.I saw improvement in two days and now, a month later, there's NO improvement because there's nothing TO improve. The calluses are all gone.I'd say "Thank you Porter" but he's dead.Oh, about the smell. Everything I've read alluded to it without describing it. Stop reading if you, too, wish to be surprised.Still here? One of the ingredients is "something ammonium" There's a hint of camphor and ammonia when first applied but the odder is slight and goes away almost immediately

Sarna anti itch lotion is great!
I have Lichen Planus and the itch is very annoying. My legs have become very red and sore. I was visiting my mother in law and she saw my legs and offered SARNA, anti itch lotion, to me. At first I didn't want to try anything new because I didn't want to make my problem worse (it has happened before when I tried new products), but the itch was so intense that I would try anything to stop it.I was so happy I tried SARNA, this product is fantastic! It only temporary help my eczema for about ten minutes, I don't know if it helps other skin problems, but if you do get it, stay away form the regular/medicated version because it is almost strong as tiger balm and who use tiger balm all over their body like lotion. It is best to get the sensitive version.

Great anti-itch lotion for large areas of skin
The best thing about this product is that you can use it over large areas of the body, practically all over, without spending a fortune. Definitely a plus if you need something more than those tiny little tubes of hydrocortisone cream. It's also the only thing I've found that works for razor burn under the arms (although it can sting a little if you nick yourself). The only downside is that it can be difficult to wash off your hands, but it's important that you do. You don't want to have that on your hands and then touch your eyes. But overall, a great product.

You'll never go back to your old acne products!
I have been a fan of Mario Badescu for a few years now. I do find that his lotions are great for sensitive, acne prone skin like mine. I had always been to dermatologists, wore little face make-up and regularly applied expensive topical creams impatiently awaiting results. When someone recommended his drying lotion, I was skeptical. NEVER has anything, not requiring a prescription, worked for me in the past. I bought it at a trade show and was instantly hooked! There's no need to apply it all over the face, just the inflamed area. If you apply to fresh acne (I do not recommend applying when it's already in the drying process, you'll risk flaking) your blemish will be gone in just a couple days. Improving atleast 50% in just the first day alone! I'm just ordering my 3rd bottle now. Oh and DO NOT SHAKE!

Great for General Acne, Not for Cystic Acne
I have used products in the MB line for months now and have tried various products including the buffering lotion, silver powder, healing powder, drying mask, special healing cream, and of course the drying lotion. Out of all of them, I like the drying lotion best and reach for it most often over the rest of the MB line that I own. As others have stated, it is best used in the evening, since it is not formulated to work with makeup. Apply with cotton swab and dab on each pimple until coated in "pink," and let dry. Typically the pimple(s) are greatly reduced by morning, if not gone, which is why I love this product. For an acne treatment intended for evening use, this is the best I have found. Kate Sommerville makes a similar product, but it did not work nearly as well, so I would skip that one if you were thinking of going with that one instead.Please note that this product does not intend to clear up stubborn cystic acne. WOW THIS REALLY WORKS!

A mixture of teaspoon of honey with half teaspoon of tomato juice and camphor lotion can be applied on the pimples. Immediately after rinsing the scrub off my face I did not notice a difference in the smoothness of my skin than when I use St. Ives, but after my face dried I didn't have to immediately apply moisturizer like I normally do. My face remained soft... I like a bit of thickness with any of my moisturizers, be them lotions or creams, and thick this is not. Aside from the glycerin that is present in all of Yu-Be's products to hydrate your skin, it also contains camphor, which soothes irritation. To me, this gave me very similar results as Burt's Bees (which is the only chapstick-type product I got down with before this), but with added soothing benefits from the camphor present in the formula. Besides using on your face and body, you can also apply to your lips, cuticles, cracked heals, dry elbows & knees, and even smoothed out my hella dry feet. It's kind of like the Moisturizing Skin Cream in solid, stick form. If you've entered my giveaway you already know this, but the great folks over at Yu-Be sent me some samples of their line of skincare products and I've finally played with them enough that I feel comfortable sharing a review with you. My current favorite scrub is from St. Ives, which is not as coarse as Yu-Be's scrub here.
